"Creating products that enhance quality of life while contributing to a healthier future"
After years in the nutrition and fitness industry, Richard founded NFI Consumer Products in 1988 where he distributed nutritional supplements in the Health & Beauty Care Category to over 35,000 retail outlets including mass, drug, grocery and convenience stores. Most notable was Richard’s premier product, Blue Emu, a top seller in the topical analgesic category. After growing his business into a multi-million dollar corporation, Richard sold NFI, and the Blue Emu Brand, to UPM Pharmaceuticals in January of 2014.
Due to his strong entrepreneurial spirit and vast industry knowledge, Richard then founded AEC Consumer Products to continue his passion for enhancing overall quality of life. After years of extensive research and product development, Richard is proudly launched the BAC-D Brand, a line of superior bacterial defense products for skin and wound care.
